The trout are still biting but most were pretty small today.  Still nice to get them on the fly rod.  Caught over 30 trout and one really small Red Fish. Ill be looking for other places to fish where I might have a better chance of getting some nice reds.

Must have been a game in Tampa today.  Goodyear blimp over the city.

Is your job taking you down that way Robert or are you just trying to stay out of the cold Martinsville weather?

rjs123

Wouldnt call it a job Al but it is for work.  Doing mostly event photography and art shows these days.  All big down here this time of year.  And yes it is nice to be out of the cold.

Went fly fishing again today.  Got about 15 and they were bigger. One was over 20 inches.  Still havent caught any really nice ones on the fly rod.  Got a friend down here who has a couple of kayaks.  He says he knows a great spot in the mangroves for Snook, big Trout and Redfish.  Looking forward to that soon.
