Croaker has a post up at Psycho's about fishing that area. I'd pm him.  Gordie

I spoke with him
And it looks like. If no Boat. Not much fishing
So Mrs Stash and I will go downand and Eat Drink and be Merry.
I've never been down there so it will be an adventure. I'll pack a rod anyway.

The ride will be worth something.

Mstash, lived down there about 12 years ago. Plenty of eat, drink, and be merry there. I wasn't flyfishing at the time or i probably would have a couple wade spots for ya. Enjoy your trip and the beauty that is Savannah (the city  ;)).

Would it be worth hauling our bikes down to peddle around town?

Yep, or go whole hog and take the Trolly ride roun' town.

Croaker's right...well worth it!

The times I've been in Savanah, it looked like it would be bike-friendly.  Later in the spring, when the azalias are out would be nicer.....
