I went fishing for a couple hours. Caught a couple brookies and several browns.

Screw waders, I wet waded, and busted my arse

There has been so much weather related mayhem in recent years.  Strong winds, tornadoes, and so many debris/landslides. Point being, trails haven't had a chance.

Ah, now I gotta get out of here!

Props on the wet wading.  No way I'd do that. About time someone got out and fished too.

There are guys here that never wear waders.  If one wears fleece under the pants, it is not that bad at all.  I may change my tune when the water drops below 40 degrees.

I'm of the opinion waders should be a low priority investment.  They are prone to fail, have marginal benefits, and inhibit movement.  I've fallen out of love with them, and plan not to wear them from this point forward, unless very severe conditions are a factor.

Dang. Wet wading in December. You da man! Looks like a rough deadfall stream as well.  'c;

Like all that wood.  Looks pretty juicy for a stream that isn't flowing through human habitation.

Late reply here -

That's a good little creek. And a good brown for that water. I'd like to slide in from the top if possible and see the parts that I haven't seen.

Rock on. That's a rough one on up further for sure.
