We do need a revival and I'm in with Mudwall's sermon on
Religion in Schools. When attending the Methodist sanctuary as a young lad, I had no idea of Hitchens. Surprised I was, to discover I was not adolescently alone when I was curious about my position within the "flock".
Or if this is a fly swap, sorry, I'm still relearning to fish with worms, and learning to work a Berkley Cutter Rip Bait.
Donating food for the needy is easier, not terribly costly, and much more satisfying.
I'm good for any of the categories except salt. fuck salt. Articulated preferred. I did some external recruiting from some lurkers and fucks who don't sign in very often.
Maybe few noobs from PHWFF poppin in. Thank me with beer.

I've been seeing how the voting goes. Don't know if I want to commit to one for two-pound flies that take three hours work and half a chicken worth of feathers and a whole rabbit pelt for every fly. :)
I say we are all pretty stand up guys. Tie whatever you think people want. You all are getting weenies from me.

I'm gonna say intruder patterns and anything else with a stinger hook qualifies as articulated. Hell, a Peanut Envy (and others) ties pretty fast and cheap.
Unless you use 1/0 Gamo hooks.
Join the party. I'll tie mice with a stinger.
Make them weenies articulated, J. :P

What is the timeline?
May I cheer on Doug's suggestion to tie Intruders. They are the best sub surface streamer to use while floating rocky/ledgy smallie flows. They don't hang up often. They also are a very effective rocky river LMB streamer. Crawdad color works well for warmwater applications. Have not tested mini pink intruders for local bows. I bet they would kill.

Go get a Big Mac. Always made my visit worth while. Unless you are traveling on a passport versus government orders. A passport opens up so many possibilities on a layover. I got lost in Kyrgyzstan for a week. If it wasn't for running into Devin Gallagher on the air base, I would have stayed a month. Did the same thing in Qatar on the way out.
My material order got fucked up. wrong fucking sculpin wool and fish skulls won't fit over the eyes of the hooks I bought. Definitely doing some version of T&A in cockroach rainbro colors. Haven't decided on skull vs wool head, gonna do one each and test them at Pechmann, I'll go from there.
What color Boogie Man y'all want? I can do rootbeer/olive or white/tan.

I'm going to try and finish mine up tonight and get them out tomorrow. Have 6 more to go with half of those being half way done. Should be able to knock it out while watching some basketball.
I know I'm behind, but I will finish them up soon just got back last night so getting back on some sort of schedule.

I "almost" finished all of mine last night, one left 3/4 done in the vice.... I hate wool heads..... jis say'in
I also hate wool heads.
Got mine done.
Boogieman is a great fly. Thanks for your efforting. 8)
I'd fish that.
As for wool heads. Screw that! I just laser dub in place of all wool now.
Speaking of which anyone need any wool.
Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Yeah. Wool heads can eat a dick.
You'll see my effort soon enough.
Flies were mailed off today. I finished last week, but hate going to the post office. 0:0

I post up pics of flies received later on :banana026:
Is everyone in?

no
:banana072:
Some guy might need a surrogate tier. :laugh: y;
Then there is the newb who went silent. :banana-fu:
I got all mine ready, just gotta get to the PO. We gots 10" of snowz up here right now.
The newb isn't silent, just busy having a life, ya know redeploy from AFG, Jumpmaster Refresher, find a new car because my wife was in an accident and totaled my truck. Haven't had time to sit down and tie. This weekend I will be able too, but if y'all need put someone else in that was tying in the bullpen then do so. No prob to me. I'll catch the next one, but I'm going to finish my ties this weekend
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pretty sure it was the other newb. I would rather wait so all can get in on the fun. No one is in a hurry and fancy things like bullpen tyers don't exist in the low rent district 0:0

Sorry bout the accident. Hope your wife is ok.

Btw, we've got guys late who are not deployed to their vice.
PS: I've been late to swaps, too. Self righteous is a thing now.

2000 Tacoma?
Sold an 01 a few years ago. Loved that truck. And resale value is insane.
Love my Tundra though.

Yeah I miss my Tundra had a 2011, but we didn't want to get in another payment and so we got this Tacoma straight up. It runs smooth

Hmmmm, except for no cap on it that looks like the one I just traded in. Did you get it from Rick Hendrick here in Fayetteville. Mine had 127K, Well serviced and not a thing wrong with it other them mileage and I wanted a new one with all the latest technology. Be a good truck for someone

I forgot the SASE, but I offered to send WB the cash to stuff my flies back in the same box and send 'em back to me.
Does that count as "clean"?
I hope to get the sorting done this week....

All sorted, waiting on Sapperpatten's flies to arrive!

Any truth to the rumor that Sapper is feeling so contrite and embarrassed that he is including a fly box such as pictured in his post for each of us? 'c; bd;0 :o
I'll try and get everything mailed out soon after I receive that last batch, but a little family medical emergency popped up....
All flies shipped today :banana026:
Except for Driver who will have to get them on the stream someday ...

And for those of you who didn't enclose postage or an insufficient amount y'all can send me some wanga via PayPal!!

Hopefully my postage was good. I put more on the return envelope than I did on the dozen and the envelope I sent. Let me know if it wasn't enough.

Most that included postage were good! Several were short and others neglected to include anything —- check the postage on your envelop !

One done -0-
I lost mine Saturday afternoon in a very deep hole, chasing a very big fish.
Snagged on something so big it broke my furled leader.
Really bummed to lose that. Now I have to start tying them . . .
Wow Al - what country were you in? Scotland?
