Some nice crappie today

Another old duffer and I fished a super secret crappie lake today


We did well. Got on water at 7:15 and off at noon. Caught 50-60 that looked like this.


Caught them all on jigs (sliders and curly tails). We fished submerged trees that my buddy and I had put in during the winter.  8-15 feet of water. Some trees we drew a blank and some we caught 15 or more. Fish enough spots and you end up with this


I kept 20. He gives the others away to folks in his church.
