Meet at J's at 1. Stream at 2. Work uphill. Done and done, back in the truck by 5.
No lunkers. Decent numbers. Most wriggled off before the shitty camera came out.
New to me 1959 vintage 7'9" Wonderod got slimed.

Good to see someone getting out on such a fine day in the hills. I never got around to removing the Sunday clothes yesterday.
60 degree day was too nice of a fishing opportunity to take when we have been having a really cold spell. Few hours on the stream yielded a good number of fish and a healthy average size. Doug got to break in his new hat and new fiberglass. This stream property issues bothers me more each time I visit. Landowner has clear cut the land to the west of the stream last time I was here. As a result, silty sediment runs into the stream every time it rains. Fear the lower section of this stream will be unable to support spawning gravel beds for the brookies. Yesterday it looks like the land owner had a survey done and moved his property lines back a 100 yards into National Forest. Forest Services came out too and re marked the new National Forest boundaries. New posted signs plastered all over the place.
