Title: Another day @ the pond
Post by: Al on June 19, 2020, 16:07:05 PM
Big plans to hit the local pond today but they got delayed with nearby thunder and heavy ran. Got almost 1/2 inch in less than 30 minutes. Sun came out so off I went for another solo trip. Had a "Oh yes, I like to go" which did not work out b'; .

I usually catch 1-2 off the dock before jumping in the canoe but not today - maybe that was a clue as to how the fishing was going to be - it was tough! Thought for awhile it was going to be a skunk but this one finally said "take me!"

A couple more in short order put a smile on my face.

This seat is open if anyone in local area wants to fill it. Pond is usually good for 15-20 bass per 3-4 hour trip. There are also some big bream. All catch and release unless they are deeply hooked.

A couple more before I called it a day. Nothing big today and no 15-20 either, but still good to get out there and clear my head.
