I am going to be in Hilton Head for a conference the end of Sept. Would like to get a taste of salt flyfishing while down there. Anyone have any info or guide recommendations they are willing to share for that area?

Depending on where you are staying, the canals through the resorts can be good in the morning.   You can rent kayaks around the South Beach marina area and fish some of the creeks or try calling Tuck Scott.   I've not fished with him, but he has a good reputation.

Yup, going fishing

Might be able to meet you in/near Savannah with a small boat.
Let me know what days and ifn you can make the short drive...

Thanks guys! Great ideas.

Don, it might be able to work. I will know more as the dates draw near. I haven't planned an intenerary yet, but it would be great to fish with you down there. Hate I missed PFF last spring, and a bowlful or three of your legendary LCB!!

David,
I have a couple buddies there and they say that Jame Hough is the best guide there.

I will get you his phone number as soon as one of them calls me back.
