Weather report looked good. And knowing this might be the last chance I get to go for albies this year I was going no matter what. Couldn't find anyone that was available this weekend and I needed a first mate, so BRFFF came through with ptfranzen. Great dood. Couldn't have asked for a better first mate. Fishing was good right off the bat. But died down as the day went on. Only small pods of albies were coming up here or there. Busted off to many fish, even lost a sinking line. (I now triple check my backing knot.) Did get into a massive school of blues as well. Sunday was a bust due to rough seas.

Dat' der' looks' like' a' striper' rig'.
They guy I bought it from had it set up for stripers. But I have converted into a fly fishing vessel. I have a few more things to do to it to make it snag free. Mainly adding pop up kleats. Going to put a polling platform on it at some point. It's draft is a little is deeper than a flats or skiff. But it won't beat your ass to death either.
