Musky - damn, those are awesome fish.

I know nothing of fishing for them for the most part.

Everyone says you'll need a boat and I've sold mine.

Most guys say that fishing for them without a boat (wading) is an act of futility.

I really wish it was feasible to fish them without the requirement of a vessel.

I've seen dudes catching them while wading for smallmouths.

I just don't know.

It sure would be nice to catch a musky on the fly.

Is this a cry for help?
Where do you live?

Mount Airy, NC. And, yes, I would say that could be interpreted as a cry for help.

Phil

WAIT!! I'm crying for help, too. Gawd, I'd like to catch a muskie.

Good luck. I shall be sleeping in late, and enjoying life.

Sounds like a dumb plan

I like. Can’t wait to see ferocious snow ‘bows.

Good luck.

Snow, rain, 34 degrees. A couple of related west slopers. A couple of hours of meh.
The normally aggressive rainbows were sleepy.  n!n

Slayed the eyes too

How'd the water look? Thought it would be up and muddy with all this rain.

Might make that run next weekend.

Gotta watch the gauges.

Uses these gages for the upper new.

NWS Upper New

Onslow

It is generally rainfalls over an inch the mess up the new.  Rain lately has been rather gentle.

Next week on the other hand may be a bit different.  NWS is calling for 1.5 inches this week, while, some of the local stations are suggesting the mountains could see 5 inches of rain.  I hope the hell not.  Next weekend looks promising minus the rain.
