Fishing continued today. Up early for a visit to the Widowmaker. Just had a few hours to put in because a new adventure starts later this afternoon.
I invited Scott since he was butthurt that I fished alone yesterday. Obligations kept him away. He's really gonna be pissed when he sees this.  :o

Silly humans and their shrines to themselves. The "look at me" generations left lots of evidence. I wiped them away with a swipe of my gigantic boot.

My camo shirt for today.

They are even breeding tiny shrine makers!

It's horseshit.
Wait, they even put rocks on that!

The water was up slightly and chalky. It started out slow. Clipped the dry/dropper off and went with a double nymph rig. The sun started to hit parts of the water about then, too. Bang-O!

We call this The Widowmaker for a reason. All these have come down since I was here a month or so ago.

Kept climbing up and pulling nice fish after nice fish. The brookie population started to take over. No fish were harmed with a dry fly.

And I lost a lot of fish.  8)
Headed to the lake in a few to see if me can spot some carp in the shallows.
Peace, out, bitches.

I didn't get home today until 4:30.  I almost packed up and went to the Smith just to get a fix, but I was exhausted...I just woke up from a 2.5 hr nap.  SMH

Nice work!   bd;0

Doug, that looks like one hell of a day out.
I assume you lost count at some point.

I usually lose count at 10-12.
I was telling J that I didn't post a bunch of pics. The 10" bows started to look like the same fish.
It was stupid. I only fished 500 yds? I should have bailed on my afternoon plans.
