evening on the home waters..

Went out this evening for a few hours on one of the local flows.
the large stoneflies have started to be abundant on this river lately, and I had tied up a few imitations last night after examining some shucks yesterday. they ended up working well.
the fish were well fed and full of energy, all fighting very hard and putting on acrobatic displays..it was a great evening to be out on the water..here are a few pics..

What a way to spend the evening, now Im gonna drown my sorrows at the bar shortly ($1 PBR's), watch the NFL draft and cry because that asshole John Fox is still the coach of the panthers and they gonna pick some shitty QB... o-o

those are some sweet wild colors. special fish,  too bad I'm too lazy to catch only stockers....

you just haven't hit it on a good day yet..
