Got out for a couple of hours after work today and made a run up to the Diamond mine to try to catch the evening hatch. 



This girl crushed the crawdad.

It's the same fish, actually.  But there were others I was unable to land.  There was a lot of activity and the bigguns were out prowling for sure.  My fault for using 5X, I guess.

Know the frustration.
I tied on 6x for the first time this year. Need to adjust my hooks set, for one.
