Last night I had a dream the fishing was hot.  Big browns rising to Salmonflies on a river running in a valley of some real mountains.  Then I awoke to a baby crying.

I'll be in Montana this time tomorrow. Bringing the heat wave with us apparently hopefully can get onto some big bugs

It's around the right time for salmon flies - they don't get much bigger than that.

My friends in Denver were telling me run off is still screaming.    There was a lot fo May snow.  They have had a decent amount of rafters/kayakers drown this year so far

Peter,
Colorado must have been the only place that got snow out west.  I fear Twin Bridges may already be marooned on a gravel bar somewhere on the Ruby or the Jefferson.

I'm pretty sure the Jackson area was also hit with those late spring snowstorms.

That's good.  MT sure missed it.  Temps in the 100's this weekend and runoff is long done.  I'm afraid hoot owl restrictions will come early this year.

Slipped while fishing today. Hit my knee on a rock. It hurt.
