I have fished the Mitchell during the week. They are scheduled to stock on April 1st. the trucks usually arrive around 11. Unfortunately, it's pretty crowded at stocking time and the fish take an hour or so to acclimate. You real productive time is limited to late afternoon till dark. April 2nd might be your better bet - during the week, less crowded, fish have settled down and learning their habitat.

I could be talked into taking a vacation day to catch a whole lot of healthy, strong, plump fish that haven't seen my flies before......
