Been too long. 

Headed down after cleaning up Cleveland show. (Kicked ass, btw. Mo money.)
Good to see the girl. Camped with two rods and beer in Wowie's hole and ranged from there.
Water was up to 300cfs ish. And milky. Is the lake turning over? the streams coming in are clear.

Nuthin much coming off. For hours you see a sulfur here and there.
Decided to throw meat. Started with terrestrials. Cheeseburgers.













Chucked some psuedoslumpbusters with the old glass 6 wt. and got a solid bump but no hook up.
Cracked another beer, saw a few more sulfurs popping off. Went back to the 4 wt. Score.

The water they are letting through seems to have gotten a bit more milking in the past month or so.  They'll probably have to cut the flows some more, unless there is considerable rain in the next few weeks.....

Spork and Driver were planning a floaty trip down the Smith, despite hating fishing out of the kayak, I invited myself along. My plans were to start off with streamers on a sinking line, with a floaty line and dry flies and nymphs for plan "B". Spork started hooking up with stones right off, when I went to switch lines, I realized that I left the other reel in the car. Struggled with streamers the rest of the day, with Driver catching a few on beetles and black caddis. I had a couple of tugs and one blow up, but I did manage to consume my share of beer.
