I received a phone call over the weekend from a gentlemen wanting a guided trip on some of my home waters.  Late Sunday, about 5 p.m. we set sail in the 2003 Ford Ranger.  170k miles and doesn't burn a drop of a oil.  I plan to rock this thing until the wheels fall off.

My "client" and I get to the river around 6 and suit up to start fishing around the 6:30 mark.  Nothing, Nothing and more of Nothing.  I'm puzzled and he is starting to doubt my guiding skills.

First one of these I have ever found on this river...

All in all, Sunday was a good day.  We managed a couple of fish a piece, but he had the advantage fishing above me.

Thursday, I get a phone call during lunch.  "Hey, you think you might want to take me on one of those guided trips again this evening?"  My response was I'll call you around 4:30 and let you know.

Around 5:30, we set sail to the river in his 1990 model Ford escort.  Top of the line, LX.  Runs good!

Made it to the river around 6:30, but didn't get to start fishing until about 7:15 because of a bad thunder cloud.

Man it got dark fast...the "Client"

Great two fishing trips, wild browns and bows...

That fawkin blows!!! Heal quickly and walk often. My wife tore her miniscus and the military refused to offer help or physical therapy. She now has to walk side ways really slowly down any type of decline because it healed incorrectly. Just remember, hiking to your favorite fishing hole counts as therapy!!

Yeh luckily I had short term disability I'm 8 weeks post surgery and awaiting my lightweight acl brace suppose to be coming next week I'm in therapy 3 times a week but yeah healing up good maybe another month to go before I go back to work.

Sounds like they took really good care of you!! That's good!! Not being able to fish because of injury fawkin blows!! I have had four lumbar and lumbar to sacrum fusions the last ones being in the spring of last year. So I have been off of fishing several times and it always seems to be during the winter and spring hatches!! b';

Needless to say, I was stoked when I got cleared in the early part of this year to fish again!!i have been out twice a week most every week. You know, to "make up for lost time!"

You tell me?!?!  I'm probably going to be tied up on the weekends now for quite some time.  We are suppose to close on the house not this week, but the next.  There are a few odds and ends that will need to be taken care of before I will have any free time!
