James near Lynchburg?

Anyone know how the small mouth fishing is on the James in Lynchburg?

I drove over it yesterday.  Unfortuantely I didn't have the opportunity to stop and wet a line.  The river looked good.  Not blown out like the ones north of Charlottesville.  Let me know how you make out.  Wading or Floating?
