Warning:  No fish were injured during this float trip.  Not sure we even saw a fish..... :embarassed:

We had a plan.  We executed.  We struck out.

Enjoy the pics of a Saturday that was just too damn nice.....literally.  The high pressure, sun and wind made for difficult conditions.   But we're not making excuses- we're going back to get our money's worth.  It was fun to get the Cadillac Limousine on the water and watch Flats and BD cast some big stuff.

Damn...Gram and some 11 wts.

So, what type of water do musky like??  I know folks catch 'em on the South Fork Shenandoah, just have no idea where you'd find the fish.

Beetle took me fishing and all I got was a sore arm ;D ;D

Thanks for rowing all day.  When are we going again?

ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

deep slow water..structure..ledges.. drop offs..

We had 2 eats yesterday...One was hooked 4' from the boat and didn't get him. :'(

Shit is fun aint it boys 8)

Agreed...we we stopped to let BD fish a smallie stretch and I was farting around.   Most of the casting was done from the boat...we covered all the slow water pretty hard and focused on the big holes.    Having seen how deep some of those holes were, I'll probably rig one of the rods with a 300-350 next time.

Long, slow flats and deep, dark holes.
