Very well attended! About 50 anglers?
The VT and DGIF guys talked a lot and explained the Put And Take program. That was what they wanted feedback on. We gave them an earful on that and strayed to other programs, also. My biggest beefs were with the DH, special regs, wild trout and fingerling programs that get short shrift compared to the put and take. I didn't even get to that. They have a section on their website for feedback, now. I would comment, get your friends to comment, keep commenting. They are taking their sweet time to implement changes - 3 years. Friggin' gov agency. There was representation from put and take guys, TU guys, fly, spin, bait, everything. No fists, insults or threats were thrown. Everyone knows the system is broken in many ways.

Found this gem on FB.  One guy caught and keep all these trout in one day and admitted it. Stocker program at its finest.

Fucking pelletheads.

Pellethead recipe....take the trout, wrap it in bacon, grill it, throw away the trout, eat the bacon.

I'm guessing the walkie-talkie is to let his buddy know if the coast is clear to haul his catch out.
