I'll file a trip report under the PFF group section, but this part goes here. While all the other guys went off to fish for bigger rainbows and browns, a guide friend invited me to go with him on his "guide's day off" to fish a small fairly inaccessible brookie stream. He's 32 and a fishing machine spry as a mountain goat. Needless to say, I was beyond whipped at the end of a day of steep no-trail mountain hike/slide to the stream, rock-hopping, deadfall climbing, rhodo busting fishing. Kept up with him, though.

Your guide is an alright guy.  He seems to be liking livin in TN.  Glad you both had a good day.

BrookieHunter

looks like a good trip and reminds me how badly I need to get back on a brook trout stream.

Nice! Looks like a brown in the woodpile there, too.

Good catch, Yaller. The little brown was from the day before on a different stream. I overlooked the pic when I was posting them here. Nothing but brookies on the creek we went to on Friday.
