 We all do it, drive past good looking creeks to go fish something we are familiar with or has some catchy name. Yesterday I decided to explore one of these

neglected creeks. I've driven past this one hundreds of times and only ever fished the first 100 feet of it. Had to be back by 2:30 so I left the house at 6:00

am and had the first fish in hand at 7:00, progressed up the creek until noon and turned around but I'll be back to see what is higher up for sure.

Quite a few fish in this hole!!

Who needs felt or studs when you have moss!!, grow your own wading shoes. d:b

Yup, going fishing

Sexy creek.

I usually do the opposite. I'm always passing up on creeks I know are productive only to explore some crazy shit that I have no idea about.

Those mossy shoes are likely a missing clue from Unsolved Mysteries.

Most excellent!  'c;

And yeah, gotta wonder about those shoes.....

 The shoes were strange for sure but there was also a newer pair hanging from a tree where you park at the road.

Whoever walked out barefoot from where I found the moss covered pair is tougher than I am!!

I'd give anything to find out that story.

Hell,  The owner of those shoes might still be in there in that rough-ass place  :o

Great pics, but the title is wrong. If I drove past it, I'd know about it.
