Back to the Widowmaker with Scott. I had gone in a few weeks ago, but he had not been since early last summer when we went to the top. We were planning to go to the top again, but halfway into the day we both agreed to save the gorge for another day. All in all a good day. And my pics suck.  b';
Time to re-check the settings. I took the new glass rod I built for my cuz. 7' 4", 4 wt. And got some good fish slime/mojo on it, too.  y; I'll hand it off this week.

We both caught OK numbers,  lost/missed a pile of fish and had a good time with the bitch. He spoiled the day with his first fish, though. I had just mentioned that this was the hole where I had caught my first brown on this stream and the line came tight. Very tight. A few minutes later I netted this bad boy for him. His pics will be better. It was too big to lay flat in my little net. I think I was more excited than him. 14-15" of thick crick butter.

I missed the slam. He, of course, got his. The gorge beckons, and we'll be back.

Well, yep, you all suck. Doug, Ken, Scott, Buddy, Driver, and every other asshole that's fishing. Dear Almighty Creator, please take this burden from my sinuses where I can breathe and function with normality again like the usual man. Karma probably. I've got to get back on a creek soon. Rant over.

I enjoyed that report. It'll help hold me over until I can break out again. Sounds like a boss-ass brown for that flow. Hell yes.

Did you kick the glove to the curb?

Yes and no. Treated areas have healed, but I'll still be wearing them on open, un-shaded waters. Probably Saturday, on da boat.  :P

 Looked like a hell of a good day for sure.
