To hell with the creek.  I'd go across the Blue Ridge, lift a some barb wire, and fish WF Dodd, eat supper in Floyd, and smile. IF Dodd had browns, this would be browntown down to the Little, but it appears Dodd is decoupled from other brown streams....or not.  Someone needs to find out.

We probably pass by many snakes without seeing them especially on the small creeks... d:b  I've seen some LARGE rattlers up in Stone Mountain SP and Daughton Park, this little garter snake is nothing to worry about and I would have picked it up but they tend to defecate the most foul-smelling excrement upon being handled...

I have many creeks Keith will never find, nor fish. Out.

This.  People do not give the Little River system the proper respect.  It always amazed me how overlooked it was.  Trout up high, and bass down low - that drainage is a lightly trafficked gem.
I was born by the river in a little tent, And just like the river I've been running ever since, It's been a long, long time coming, But I know change is gonna come.
