And yes- the smallie fishing was insane.  A big tip of the hat to Drew, Matt and Rick for getting these dinosaurs in the boat and released unharmed. 

I was glad to see them gather their wits, swim off peacefully and live to scare the ever living bejesus out of someone else.

Damn nice fish bug!

Reminds me of my boundary waters days up in Minnesota. I used to cast spoons to Northern Pike and Muskie, most times the fish won.

Hardware- big hardware to be exact.  I know some of the ECO guys have been testing some flies and equipment but they have yet to get a big one.  I really hope they get one on fly soon.  They love these fish and are very careful with them.  Drew's experience handling these fish came in quite handy this day!

Yep, definately a tiger trout. Those New river tiger trout are some more kinda mean. Yall best stay outta there if ya know whats safe.
