I'm off this weekend, been invited to go Muskie fishing, what patterns do i need & how hard are they to catch on a fly?
Naturally, the weather is perfect today & turning colder with a chance of rain tomorrow, sounds like good conditions right?

Son's 13th Birthday party xbox halo marathon, 8 boys playing Halo four on four for 20 hours...., Sunday I might just sleep.
Our weather is supposed to be perfect, mid 70's in western NC mountians, so I plan to hit some streams and look for a hatch!
Apparently I'm going to be sick this weekend..... woke up with a scratchy throat and a killer headache and neither has gotten better o-o Man, I hate that :'(
Stuck working tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully playing on Sunday.
PS - Phish - the weather report i just looked at called for a 70% chance of rain now

how true, the weather was nasty yesterday, caught my first Muskie, on a fly to boot ;D (as if there was any other way)

Way to go Grumpy! A muskie is a tough fish to hook up with.
Up north they used to say it was a 1,000 cast fish, with spinning gear and big plugs.
