As I did last year, I kept a running total on my calendar at work on how many times I fished, where I fished and the numbers for 2008. Here are my final totals:
Waters fished: Soho, Helton Creek, Tuck, Nan, Caney, GSMNP, Clinch, Fishless, and North Fork of New River.
Trip Count: 35
Trips skunked: 8
Fish count: 147 Rainbows
42 Browns
23 Brookies
Personal best fish for the year (and all time): 26 3/4" brown caught on Clinch.
Average catches per trip: 6
Time I took a wet spill: 5
Times I went completely under: 1
Here's to a pretty good year on the water and hopes and wishes for ya'll to have a spectacular year on the water in 2009.

Naw, just a small Jack (Chain Pickerel).
Redfin Pike are a native down south fish with very specific
habitat requirements kinda like Brook Trout up in the hills.
Rarely caught in the rivers, mostly from the blackwater
creeks and swamps.
Wait just a minute.............. Was that Kim with a workin' mans beer in front of him at the tying table???? If so, I just knew he was a hidin somthin. ;D
