As hard as it is to believe, 35 years after the passage of the Clean Water Act, 42% of America's small rivers and streams are in "poor" condition, according to a new study by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Unfortunately, the EPA is not making things any easier for our waters.  At the behest of developers, for the past three years the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) have been following a misguided "no protection" policy that leaves small streams and wetlands without safeguards under the Clean Water Act.  It is up to Congress to halt this harmful "no protection" policy and restore safeguards for clean water!
