Title: Stripping Baskets
Post by: Woolly Bugger on April 09, 2019, 11:41:25 AM
I needed a basket to keep the line out of the dirt while chasing carp at the local pond.

I went with the Linekurv (https://amzn.to/2UbTvug), and paid $59.95 plus S&H, a bit spendy but I like the sleek Scandinavian design and the forest green color. I thought I was getting the *new* elastic belt which I think would be a plus, but got the standard non-stretch web belt.

I was thinking that the basket would come in handy on boat trips and surf fishing too. My shad trip to the James was the first time I had the opportunity to give it a try and found it indispensable.

Fred says he got his Danish designed basket on Amazon for 25 bucks, but the price has since gone up...

there is a selection of Stripping Baskets on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2D4Jqt7)
