With rain eminent, and with only outside work on the schedule for the next few days, work was not an option.  Ran some errands n shit, made a break for it at 9.30. Rain shield marching toward my neck of the woods, smallie streams dingy, shit, what do I do.  Headed up to Va to a stream I though would have potential given the conditions. 



Found this while traipsing through some private property while making my way down to my point of entry.



Starting fishing in the shadows of this house.  This was special reg water.



Water was up a bit and a little dingy.  Thought chunking some dark meat with be the money.   Caught this within 15.   Origins of this fish are suspect.  I labored for two hours, and no brown love.  Did fairly well here this past Jan., WTF



Jumped in the truck at 1.15 and headed to another stream.  Squandered 45 minutes behind the windshield.



Scouted this trickle a month ago.  Saw a troot about 12" long at the first pool on that scouting trip and thought it would be appropriate to give it a whirl today.



A big effing bow was holding in a feeding position.  Sneaked up on it's ass, and on cast #3



This is the largest piss trickle trout I've ever landed.





Decent pools were hard to come by. 



All age groups were represented in my catches....from 4" up.

I have thrown that small stuff and I honestly don't enjoy it. Sure the saying "give em what they want" rings true, but I just won't.

Common, early, and already bloomed out. White, pink or blue flowers.
