We as fly fishers all have a vision of how we think the day is gonna go as we tie our fly on in the morning. More often than not the day turns out entirely different. On this particular morning I decided to try out some water I'd never fished, in an area I'm not all that familiar with. I arrived at the stream around 9 to find that it was on and off of private property. Not wanting to anger any of the toothless locals I cut my losses and drove the extra 20 miles west to a stream I (and I'm sure most of you guys) know rock by rock.

By this point you're probably wondering why i titled this what i did. Well this morning after showering I realized that I forgot to dry my usual pants that i wear fishing. I didn't feel like driving for 2 hours with soaking wet pants on so i grabbed a pair of khakis and hit the road. Bout an hour into fishing i go to throw my leg over a rock, and it happened. RIPPPPPPP My muh fuckin pants split right in the gd crotch. Over the course of the day the tear got bigger and bigger.
