English made Hardy LRH Lightweight

For sale is a Hardy LRH Lighweight, spare spool, and 4 wt SA fly line in the Trout Taper.

I purchased this reel five year's ago at the estate sale of a deceased Penn State professor.  I do not know the date of manufacter, but my guess is 1970 or earlier.

The reel housing/cage was damaged in a fall on the Cherry River in WV while fishing with Benflyfishn.  A picture of the damage is provided below, and I have the missing piece.  Unfortunately, I do not have the skill necessary to do the repair. 

Mechanically, the reel is perfect, with that tell-tale Hardy sound when the drag is engaged. 

As Hardy fans will know, this reel is no longer made in England.
