Two hour tour today on a fine spring afternoon. Beautiful weather finally, and good amount of clear water in this bitty stream. Fun! Cut off the durn nymph after they started rising to the dry.

Good going Phil. Glad some great spring weather has returned to the high country and the brookies are looking up. I was in Boone early last week and thought the wind was going to blow the roof off the house!

Shit.  I am amazed that a stream that small can produce brookies of that size.  It has caught my full attention.  I'd love to know how it fishes further down the drainage in larger water.
I was born by the river in a little tent, And just like the river I've been running ever since, It's been a long, long time coming, But I know change is gonna come.

Way less fish -- a few bigger brookies, then none but some rainbows, until it hits a stocking place. By then I don't mess with it.
