So I'm back in Colorado for the summer, so here's a tr from the first couple weeks..lots of water, we're at 200% snowpack so all the rivers are huge and tough at te moment but they're coming down.

My brother drove out with me and fished some, we hit a big snowstorm just right to ruin some plans so we made the most of it by heading down south. Got into some piggies but fishing was tough, 2 feet of snow made for really cold water temps. We fished some still waters in belly boats, and a few rivers too. Enjoy!







Started off small with selective asshole tailwater trout


Drove up to 13k on pikes peak


Stopped at a Stillwater nearby for stocker action


Found some wild Alaskan salmon and cooked it for dinner


Got this crazy urge to throw streamers to picky fish at dusk, it worked.

Lots of snow, te subie handled it well

Found a nice river brown tossing meat

Update:
Fishing has been good to say the least. High water has made some fishing for clients interesting, but its been good to me. cool water in late june/july is very nice

i heard him rise on the bank, slapped my streamer on him and it was on. he was a beast, taped a hair over 25x16
