This stream has been on my need to write-off list for a number of years now.  I've fished it down low twice, but I've always wanted to start where I've stopped before and fish it all the way to the top once and for all.  Saturday we did.  I've been on some steep streams, but I think this may be the consistently steep stream I've ever been on.  It never quit, no major falls, just a consistent upward climb.  Once we topped out at about 4,800' the stream took another split and was getting too steep, narrow and with less water to warrant pressing on.

The numbers...1,800' elvation gained upward over 3 miles....1,800' back down over 3 miles.

Good choice with the heat and low water levels, I take it you started above the browns and rainbows?
That railroad track is impressive, a lot of force went into bending that.

Fine looking creek, and some big ol' beautiful specks.  'c;
