They predicted rain for the whole week and all I got was 2 drops so far.  I hope they are right this time.

It looks promising, but I hope that this promise comes through and isn't just a 'false promise,' because like Peter P stated, it was supposed to rain all week and we've gotten here was a drop or two.

You do know Kieth that with the drought and all a 1/2 " of good rain rather quickly will make the New red mud really quickly.  Good Luck anywho.

the catawba is flowing orange.

about 6am in foscoe, the rain started softly and gradually increased to near downpour. i enjoyed the sounds of the rain, and as well, nice and hot fresh ground brewed coffee on the porch.

coming off the mountain, the rain continues.... the watauga is filling up and along 181 steels creek was full of water.

morganton is drenched... here at the shop the rain continues.... hopefully all weekend.

headed back up to foscoe.... fishing the cat is a no-go, perhaps tomorrow a small mountain stream...

tight lines fellahs...
