Gathwright Dam on the Jackson

Don't think they have finsihed repairs, but the tailwater has been flowing at about 323 cfs for the past few days.

looks like about 39. that is pretty dang good when you consider the highs up there have been in the 20s for the past four days or so. Still, it is running above 38 degreees near bacova. So we are not getting much of a tailwater bump. Wonder if that has anything to do with the low water levels in the lake?

Had some decent days up there with temps as low as 37 (actually that is the coldest I have ever fished it)

Wish they had temp guages on more sites

Woolly, I know about the access problems, but how does the fishing compare to the SoHo and other tailwaters?

I would not mess much with the Jackson unless you have private access.

Yup. complete waste of time. All kings Grant and no public access. Can't wade and not many fish. Why bother?
