Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Are these from the aquarium or the stream?

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

It's funny, I got the aquarium set up the other day, and then my sister showed me this one on the siding of our house.  Imagine that, an 11yr old girl able to identify a mayfly. ;D

How do you train them to sit so still ???

The Hendrickson is the name of the fly Pattern....

It was an old new england pattern that had been around for several years, the tier named it after his good friend and fishing companion Mr. Hendrickson.

The pattern was originated by Roy Steenrod, student of Theodore Gordon. First tied in 1916 to matche the hatch on the Beaverkill. Steenrod was fishing the Beaverkill with A. E. Hendrickson, an Exec of the U.S. Trucking Corp., Steenrod tells that one day he was sitting on the bank of the stream about 2 years after he first tied the pattern, when he discussed what to call the fly with his friend. He told his best friend, "the fly is the Hendrickson!" and so it is...
