Finally got to make a float trip with my father and son on Saturday.  My son wore them out with spin gear and his best fish was measured at 18".  I landed 7 or 8 with the fly rod with my best fish about 16".  Grandpa manned the oars for most of the day.  Wind was nasty blowing us up the river for most of the day.  The highlight for my son was when 40+" muskie latched onto a small bass.  He got to fight that muskie for a few minutes before the muskie relized it was not worth the effort and let go of the bass.
