It was time to get out of the house. God, I haven't fished since November. Set out for a quick three hour fish, a short foggy drive that cleared as I descended in elevation out of Foggy Rock. Hit the creek about 10 and fished until 1. Dry/dropper rig worked with most fish on the dropper. Mostly punes, but at least they were brook trout, by Gawd. First outing of 2018.

All in all, a beautiful warm morning and a fine time. Didn't get skunked, so it doesn't get any better.
Good going Phil. Nothing like the first trouts of the year to verify that spring is indeed coming.
Good outing! No skunk, stretched legs, spring is in the air.

Good on you! I intend to get out there Saturday and see if I can snag a pune.
Thanks fellers. Figured I'd catch shit for the dinks. It seems to be my specialty, though. I'll embrace the puneage. :D
Embrace your place in life. :laugh: -0-
You're doing better than I.
Right on, Phillip.
Hell Yeah!!
It's good to see some of you taking advantage of this warm weather. 'c;
