Fuckers won't upgrade me on the replacement of my TiCr then will only give me $175 credit towards a new rod .... :;!

They said 1) my Ti Rc has been discontinued and 2) they changed policy on the upgrade to an equivalent rod! Fuckers!

Just to make you feel better...As much as i want to like Lefty''s company ive spent the equivalent on shipping and repairs to justify a next tier rod, the old stuffs rocked, new stuff breaks like hell IMO...i bought their musky rod and it broke when i stripped line off the top guide...

Yes! Shamed the bastards into replacing the rod for the $35 fee.... BVK on the way today.... I've heard good and bad things about this rod but I think it will fit my casting style better than the others...

I know the BVK is supposed to be a bit tender.  My six weight Mangrove however has wrangled many a big carp with no issues yet.

I use those cheap lefty "professional" series rods in the mountains just because of the warranty, but if they are going to change it i don't really see any reason to use them anymore.  they are kind of shit rods.

wasnt there a forum member years ago that worked for TFO?  tranny was friends with him i think.

Scott I believe was his name, TXfly username.  Not sure if he worked for TFO, or helped design one of their fly rods.
