I will only make this trip once in my lifetime. Started the day at a little over 6000' in elevation  and after about 4 miles or so started fishing around 3500'. Forgot to charge the camera so cell phone pictures will have to work.
Was it worth it? Hell yea!!
Will I do it again? Hell no!!

Bright and early

Damn right. Glad somebody is fishing and reporting. I'll attempt to contribute very soon.

The cascade is neat. Love stuff like that. Thanks for this.

This all would have been a lot better if you would have caught that Leprechaun.   0:0

I'm always trying to catch that purple dragon, but I never seem to get it.

I was born by the river in a little tent, And just like the river I've been running ever since, It's been a long, long time coming, But I know change is gonna come.

Hell yeah!   'c;  'c;

I haven't made that trek since I was in my early 20s. Doubt if I could do it now, at least in a day trip. The climb out is a bitch. But there's some durn pretty country down in there.
