I went out this afternoon and introduced wncpermit to one of our local jewels.
I hadn't been to it since just after the ice storms this past winter and it felt great to go back and see the trees with leaves on them after the beating they took..
the water was a little high and slightly stained from the recent rain.. we fished small wooly buggers and caught a few nice rainbows that put up epic fights in the tiny water.
after the hike out we sipped some heineken that had been in the creek chillin' and headed home..great day in the neighborhood..my batteries were almost dead so not many pics..
