I went out this afternoon and introduced wncpermit to one of our local jewels.
I hadn't been to it since just after the ice storms this past winter and it felt great to go back and see the trees with leaves on them after the beating they took..
the water was a little high and slightly stained from the recent rain.. we fished small wooly buggers and caught a few nice rainbows that put up epic fights in the tiny water.
after the hike out we sipped some heineken that had been in the creek chillin' and headed home..great day in the neighborhood..my batteries were almost dead so not many pics..

Glad you guys had a good day. Me and the Lin hit the D and some nice wild water today and finished the day off with some WNC bones at a local lake. Kelly came with us and is hooked. I would also like to take this opprotunity cordially to invite you and WNCPermit to join the Green Creek chapter of Carp Unlimited (CU). Bring an 8 weight.
