This was no. 6 musky float. Big J and Fin joined me in my folly.
New River was the venue. It was up a bit and slightly clouded.

The lads threw their shoulders out with 10 and 12 wts. and I rowed.
Took the boys over a couple of righteous ledges for thrills.
J had a flash on a figure 8. That was the highlight.
Even the walleye guys said it was slow.

Just keep chucking chickens at them. Some days a meth head like aggressive retrieve makes a night and day difference in follows. SO hard to read those damn fish though as it's hard to get feedback from a species that I catch in such few numbers.
Thunder in the distance really turns Musky on where I fish for them.
If I get zapped by lightning Musky will probably be the reason.
