black bass on lookout

fished the evening rise on lookout today. man was it hot out or what.
water temp was 72-78 fairly clear.

fish all top water, and made up for what i couldnt get to hit on top water when i fished the new river.
was using a small frog colored popper. caught some sunfish that were starting to nest.
they were fat with eggs. alot of them were lit up with color.


managed to catch a few bass on top. the largest was 15 inches. this guy was 14 inches

too bad its back to work tomorrow.. but on the good side i have a three day weekend coming up
