Anybody ever go to this? About a 3 Hour drive for me —-wondering if it's worth it.

Always some big names in the fly fishing world on hand giving seminars/demos to make it worth it, plus enough guides/outfitters to talk with about a dream trip and plenty vendors selling stuff you do not need. My buddies and I enjoy it and plan to attend.

I live nearby and have gone for the past few years.  It's a good time, I usually pick a presentation and go for that, and don't stay too long.  Planning to go Sunday depending on weather.

I'm cleaning my garage, fixing bote wiring and shoveling snow. You boyz can fill us in with the secret knowledge you glean.

I've always wanted to go. But not gonna drive 3 hours for it.
I miss having a show close by. I love buying shit I don't need.

A few years back I went and listened to Phil Croff of Croff Craft Drift Boats.  His talk was about trout fishing at night in Michigan with mouse flies.  It was cool, especially since I want to build a wood drift boat one day..

Heard Matt Miles talk about Musky fishing last year, trying to do that one again this year in preparation for a musky float this winter.

I do need to buy some tying material...

I'd rather get kicked in the nads than go to that. If I'm going to have a whole day off to blow, I'd rather be on the water somewhere.
