I completed my annual multi-night backpacking/camping/drinking/eating/fishing trip this past weekend. Fishing was a bit mediocre so basically we hung around camp for 4 days splitting wood, burning the wood, drinking, eating and being lazy. It was a basically an awesome time to say the least.

It was powered by D batteries. Which were hauled in too. 4 fucking miles. We never changed the batteries though and we ran it probably 10 hours total over the trip.

This takes the cake for hiking in stupid crap. I like it.
It also takes the cakes for not hiking important things out. Ben threw his tent on the fire the last day and sent it to Valhalla. He also threw a sleeping bag liner into the creek and sent it downriver to the happy hunting grounds for reasons unknown.

Man fuck that leaky ass tent. I should have known it was going to be a problem.
The sleeping bag liner got wet from the tent leaking and was starting to get moldy. I figured it would make good trout habitat downstream once it sank.

Husqvarna 450 w/ 20" bar. Sumbitch ate some wood, but it wasn't exactly a walk in the park to carry her and the log splitter axe, to say the least. But still totally worth it.
