...a bit of an exaggeration, but the parking is expensive.  Admission to the show itself is $15.  If you car pool, you can share the parking fee.  Last year, Flychamps and I had our wives just drop us off and they went shopping.  When we were ready to leave, we gave them a ring  and they picked up up.  Parking $0. ;D

Bob Clouser is supposed to be one of the tiers/presenters this year, along with the usual crew.  I need to make it a point to meet Dick Tauller too.  I got so engrosed watching Stack Scoville tie a Jock Scott last year that I forgot to look in on Dick as well....   :-[

Dear PHG, It will be cheaper if you paid the parking and bought Flychamps ticket than to let you wife shop in Charlotte by far. Do the math. ;D ;D ;D

I know, I got 4 flyers in the mail today, all the same.   o-o  How the hell did I get on all these friggin mailin lists.  I should return all the catalogs and crap like Kramer did in a Seinfeld episode
Beer, the cause of and solution to all life's problems.

Better yet,

Return it in the the prepaid return envelope. I always stuff them with everything that came with it, then put in some extra junk mail. These envelopes weigh more than when I received them, and they pay for it...he he he
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

Yeah if I go to any shows this year I am going to wait till may and go to troutfest in TN.  Lefty, Bob, and a ton others are suppossed to be there.

wvyou

If you've never taken a class with Joe Humphreys, it's well worth it.  Admission to the show is included in the price of the class, and noone is collecting parking fees that early in the morning.

I saw that. I might just have to ride over for that.

The brochures showed up yesterday. Looks a lot better than last years to me.

I think they're using a different printing company...
Yankee by birth, Rebel by choice.

Gofisher...

FYI, last year there were 3 fly tiers.  This year there is 13.  Just for comparison.
