The cooler temps had me thinking about all the usual fun fall activities, plus grouse, quail, cool temps and lake turnover. Left the house at 5 to get up there early and then be leaving when it began getting warm.
It's a beautiful part of the state, and the water was far clearer than I remember from my last visit in 2010.
We did not catch any trout, but did find a few panfish and bass to keep it fun. No fish pics from this trip, just scenery...
